Robin and Linda Williams
Visions Of Love

Sugar Hill Records

Virginia-based husband and wife country-folk duo are probably best known as frequent guests on Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion." Although Keillor produced Visions of Love, his influence is felt indirectly _ more in the record's approach than its sound. This is a pre singer's record, and the Williams's clear, graceful voices shine on classics by Jimmie Rodgers, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams and, surprisingly, a beautiful version of Bruce Springteen's "If I Should Fall Behind."
