Robin and Linda Williams: August Offerings: 2008

Dear Friends,

Things are good here. The garden is exploding and it's payoff time. Right now it's cucumbers, squash, peppers AND the tomatoes are finally turning red. As well, there are blackberries to pick out in the field so we're just trying to keep up.

The art work and liner notes are done for our next CD, "Buena Vista." We're happy with the results and look forward to the release date which is September 16th. The lyrics and the liner notes as well as the artwork will be up on our website soon. We're grateful to the crack staff at Red House Records for all their good work during the production process. We'll have CDs at The Fine Group Boutique soon and will let you know when and where else you can find it as the release date draws near.

Ticket sales have been good for the Fortune Williams Music Festival which happens on the last weekend in September. Recently, while cruising the dial driving around North Carolina and Virginia, we heard The Steeldrivers, Tim O'Brien and John Anderson on the radio. It's a good feeling knowing we're going to get to see them all at our festival. And the Frontier Culture Museum is the perfect venue for the shows. As anyone who has come to the festival knows, there isn't a bad seat in the house, the sound is great and it's all up close and personal. The next couple of months are going to be fast and furious. We're tuning up our van ri ght now readying it for the miles that are coming up. We look forward to our jobs in Colorado and New Mexico, Michigan, Illinios and New York. We are also glad to return to the IMBA to play at Fan Fest and happy to be showcasing for the first time at the Americana Music Festival. Both events are in Nashville, TN and we're always anxious to spend a little time in that juke box in the honky tonk of lIfe.

Bumper Sticker Of The Month: Where there's a will, I want to be in it!

As always, we hope to see you somewhere along the way. Remember, music makes you smarter.

Your pals,

Robin and LInda
