December News/ Robin and Linda write:

Dear Friends,

We're just back from St Paul, MN where we did our first Christmas show of the season. We are really enjoying getting back to our Christmas material and our show at the Fitzgerald Theater was great fun. It snowed four or five inches before and during the show so, for us, it made songs like "Together All Alone" and "Walking Through Your Town In The Snow" more moving. We're finding that the songs we selected for our Christmas CD, "The First Christmas Gift," are holding up well and have real staying power. We have added a couple of new songs to the holiday repretoire and Chris Brashear's fiddle playing brings a new sound to our live performances.

And speaking of CDs, the response to our new one, "Radio Songs," is exceeding, by far, our expectations. As of last night it was listed on Amazon.com's Folk Music page as one of it's Hot New Releases. And we're on the charts!! We had one of the top five most added cuts on the Americana Chart and it has been in the Top Ten of the Roots Music Report's Folk Music Chart for three weeks. Also, reviews have quickly started coming in and have been quite favorable. We have posted them on our website (www.robinandlinda.com) if you want to check them out . There is a particularly interesting one from "Pop Matters." We think "Radio Songs" would make a great Christmas gift. An even better Christmas gift would be "Radio Songs" AND "The First Christmas Gift." In case you agree with us you can order them off of our web site (again, www.robinandlinda.com).

The following dates take us into January of 2008. After our show on the 5th, we are taking a couple of months off the road to prepare and record a CD of our new songs. It is very exciting to see how it's taking shape and we'll report the details when everything is confirmed.

Bumper Sticker Of The Month from what appears to be a book store in New Orleans: "Fight The Stupids." We saw this on a minivan as we were driving home on I-81.

Your pals,
Robin and Linda
