Robin and Linda Williams: Happy 4th

Dear Friends,
Happy 4th of July. It has been a calm day so far, filled with correspondence and the usual life-chores, and will include, as soon as we send this message, a visit and some music around a grill with a friend.

Summer has been good, so far. Our little garden is starting to respond to the care it has received. All our gigs have been fun, and our travels have been uneventful with no flight cancellations. We combined business with pleasure on our trip to Oregon/California for some concerts with Garrison Keillor and spent an extra day in Livermore, CA with west coast family members whom we hadn't seen since before the pandemic. Robin attended the 104th Annual Livermore Rodeo which made the trip even more memorable. Don't get him started about his experience, especially the bull-riding, if you don't have lots of time.

Other excursions into the land of "glad-we-do-what-we-do" include a rain-shortened Robin and Linda set at the Red Wing Roots Festival and a Tribute Show of Beatles tunes at the end of the afternoon, with several other artists. Our buddy, Ron Shelton, was up front and made a video of us singing "In My Life."

Looking forward, we'll be in the Washington, DC area this weekend and in upstate New York the weekend following. The rest of the summer gigs are listed below, and you might notice that we'll be taking a hiatus for a couple of months in the early fall. So, if you're close by, this might be the time to come see us.

Bumper Sticker Of the Month: America! Learn it or leave it.

Remember, live music makes you smarter.

Your pals,
Robin and Linda
