Feb. 5, 2002 Robin and Linda Williams Visions Of Love Sugar Hill Records "Love is where you find it," the Prairie Home Companion favorites sing, and here, the husband-and-wife team finds it in the pens of Jimmie Rodgers, Bruce Springsteen, Merle Haggard and writers long dead and even forgotten. The album begins with I'll Twine 'Mid the Ringlets," a lyrical version of the tune better known as "Wildwood Flower," and ends with Springsteen's "If I Should Fall Behind." Sung simply with only the occasional piano or fiddle added to the Williamses' own guitars, some songs, such as the touching rendition of "Keep the Home Fires Burning," have the feel of a familly gathering in the parlor. Others, such as Roscoe Holcomb's keening "Wandering Boy," possess the ageless ache of memory. --Brian Mansfield
