'Tis Sweet To Be Remembered
Dear Friends,
Looking at our upcoming schedule has caused us to think about the good things which have happened for Robin and Linda this past year, since we released "A Better Day A-Coming." The CD added some positive energy to our lives, which were pretty doggone good already, and spent the summer and fall of 2021 in the top 10 of the FAI and NACC Folk Radio Charts, our single of the same name ending the year as the number 3 Top Song, the album ending the year as the number 11 Top Album, and Robin and Linda ending as number 13 on the list of Top Artists. Additionally, our first music video, "Old Lovers Waltz" gave the CD and us an extra boost.
The proof is in our summer schedule. We've got good work lined up, not too heavy, but steady, and are returning to some great festivals and clubs we haven't been to in years. Specifically, we're looking forward this weekend to filming "Song of the Mountains," the official television series of Virginia, in Marion, VA. We were booked on the show once before but got caught in a twenty.inch snowstorm and missed our chance. It's taken us a few years, but we've finally been able to mesh our schedules. As well we're returning to the Washington, DC area and the Triangle region of NC for the first time in a few years. There are still some tickets left at these shows, so come if your'e close. 'Tis sweet to be remembered!!!
